Revenue & Reservation Manager

Reporting to the EAM Sales & Marketing, the Revenue & Reservation Manager is responsible for maximising the hotel's revenue streams and maintaining revenue management and reservation standards.  Specifically review and measure hotel revenue performance against established targets.

  • Overseeing the hotel's revenue management and distribution strategy and managing daily revenue.
  • Managing the revenue and reservations team.
  • Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
  • Conduct competitive benchmark studies through and track market trends.
  • Create and maintain a rolling 12-month demand calendar.
  • Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with each hotel's individuality.
  • Analyse the STR report
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Manage and monitor strategy for all 3rd party sales.
  • Responsible for forecast occupancy, analysis and price group business strategies.
  • Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and produce summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Ensure all related systems are correctly configured, validated and operating at full capacity.
  • Monitor and review the standards of the reservations department.
  • Ensure the booking process of the website
  • Team leadership and staff training for standards, systems and CPD.
  • Responsible for best practice standards including: competitive analysis; environment scans; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; price control and new pricing concept.
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted fares (OTA, FIT, tour operators, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.).
  • Reduce distribution costs, by finding new, more cost-effective ways of acquisition.
  • Preparing and supporting the annual budget process.

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position
  • Experience in European luxury hotel openings is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
