Our next artist, whose works will be on display from April to the end of August, is July Haluzová. Her paintings, which connect everyday reality with the poetry of dreams, will bring new life to the spaces of Almanac X Alcron Prague.
July Haluzová is a painter whose work is characterized by a sensitive, visually rich, and playful artistic language. In her paintings, she combines everyday experiences with intuitive painting, colors, and symbols that transform ordinary situations into pictorial stories. Her works can be both contemplative and playful, depending on the viewer’s mood. The artist says of her work: “Painting is a way for me to capture a moment and let it breathe for a while. I enjoy combining the ordinary with the extraordinary and creating space for a smile, a memory, or just pure visual pleasure.”
The exhibition at the hotel features stunning paintings that the artist has chosen as a personal selection of her current and past works. July Haluzová views painting as a process of listening to the world and impressions. Her work naturally blends poetry, subtle humor, symbolism, and a critical distance from everyday reality.
This exhibition is the fourth in a series within the hotel’s cultural program supporting Czech and Slovak visual artists. July Haluzová follows in the footsteps of previous exhibitions by Martin Lukáč, Jan Bican, and Adam Jílek.
