Commissioned in the 1800s as a loveletter by its illustrious former owner, Hugo Henckel von Donnersmarck, for his beloved wife, Countess Kaszongi.
Together, they migrated from their countryside estate in Donnersmarck, Northern Slovakia. The town was named after the famous farmers market which took place every Thursday, and their building is it’s namesake.
