At Alcron Bar, design becomes an integral part of every space.
In collaboration with QUBUS, the first independent Czech design studio founded in 2002 by visual artist and designer Jakub Berdych Karpelis, the bar and hotel lobby offer a unique combination of conceptual Czech design and iconic interior elements. QUBUS is renowned for its luxury collectible objects, limited editions, and projects realized in cooperation with Czech artists and designers – all handmade in Bohemia using traditional techniques.
Created on the occasion of Designblok 2025, unique projects are now decorating the bar and lobby from October 8, 2025 in the form of vases, collectible pieces, and accessories by QUBUS. During the festival and throughout the year, visitors can explore exceptional projects led by Jakub Berdych Karpelis and curator Marcela Straková, transforming the space into an inspiring gallery where artistic vision meets innovative Czech design.
Guests can also enjoy exclusive signature cocktails served in glassware and porcelain specially designed by QUBUS. However, the festival offering at Alcron Bar is not limited to collaboration with QUBUS. As part of our long-term vision to connect mixology with art, we have created signature cocktails in collaboration with artist July Haluzová: Botanic Breeze (chamomile aperitif, mint soda – refreshing mocktail), artist Adam Jílek: Fiery Roar (Goslings Black Seal rum, ginger, pear, and flaming cinnamon), and glass artist and designer Linda Pro: Sakura Koktejů (Roku Sakura gin, yuzu, peach, lavender, Champagne acid).
These drinks are not just a temporary festival attraction but reflect our effort to provide guests with experiences where design, art, and flavor merge into a unified whole.
