
IT Administrator
You will be responsible for the operation of all data systems and communication systems in the hotel, including point of sales, Front Office, Back Office, word processing, minibar, data connections and PC networks, to maintain an optimal state of operating efficiency. All work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines and business plan, the departmental business plan, corporate guidelines and service concepts. You will report to the Group Director of IT.

Co-ordinates the installation and implementation of new business systems with outside software and hardware vendors.
Consults with the Group Director if IT before making final decisions on the purchase of new equipment.
Liaises with appropriate support organisations relating to system problems.
Maintains contact with all system vendors to be aware of new systems on the market and general market trends.
Participates in the negotiations for service and maintenance agreements for installed systems.
Maintains user accounts with a level of authorisation.
Maintains sufficient safety copies of systems software, application and data to be stored on site or off site in a fireproof safe.
Schedules and performs regular data and systems back-up.
Ensures cleanliness of all data equipment and computer rooms.
Maintains a system error/progress log book and deals with reported problems.
Secures physical access to computer rooms and other relevant areas in accordance with company policies.
Performs periodic training of key users.
Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from system users.
Adheres to corporate standards of data processing.
Keeps current all systems documentation, training manuals, and operational procedures.
Determines specific business system requirements by working with all users of computers in the hotel
Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative data base for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
Informs General Manager and Group Director of IT of technology and future technology needs.
Brings needs for major repair, and or investment to the attention of the management.
What makes you a match
Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT administrator or specialist in a fast paced 24/7 operation.
Hands-on, flexible, result-driven solution finder that can communicate with stakeholders on a different level of IT skills.
Experience with user support, MS 365, Exchange, Azure, servers, Company PBX.
Experience with hotel Oracle systems (Opera PMS, Simphony POS) is a significant advantage.
An EU passport or a Czech work authorization is required.
Fluent English language is a must, and Czech is an advantage.
