Celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Saint Stephen’s Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with us, right in front of the iconic Stadtpark and minutes away from the best Christmas markets and historical monuments in Vienna.

The restaurant will be open with our everyday breakfast menu and à la carte menu throughout the month, except for New Year’s Eve. The restaurant closes at 11 p.m.

Join us as we invite Vienna’s top artisan producers and growers to taste, discover, eat, buy sustainably and have a good chat at the Donnersmarkt restaurant – a vibrant tribute to Vienna’s traditional farmers’ markets.
Donnersmarkt restaurant is situated in our palace, once the residence of the Donnersmarck family, who were pioneers in the region’s agricultural trade, bringing fresh produce from their northern Slovakian estate to local farmers’ markets, which were traditionally held on Thursdays. Today, their legacy lives on through the new culinary experience of Thursday Markets, which not only honors this rich heritage but also marks the transition of “Donnersmarkt”.
