LOOP Barcelona is an annual art fair in Barcelona for video art. Each year, the program is divided into three sections: the art fair Loop Fair, the itinerant festival Loop Festival, and Loop Symposium: three special meeting points that unfold across the city of Barcelona.
Loop Festival (November 11th – 22nd) is a ten-day event that includes exhibitions, talks, performances, and meetings, highlighting the importance of video and artists’ film, distributed across different cultural and artistic venues in the city.
Loop Fair is held over three days (November 18th – 20th), presenting a carefully curated selection of video works in our hotel rooms by a group of local, national, and international art galleries.
Loop Symposium (November 19th – 20th) is a gathering where artists’ film is thought about, debated, conceptualized, and imagined in its multiple forms. It is an event that brings together those dedicated to this practice—artists, curators, collectors, programmers, researchers—and invites them to share questions, urgencies, and experiences.
