As a Commercial Director, you will lead the hotel’s commercial strategy and oversee the Sales division, ensuring alignment with brand values and financial goals. You will report to the General Manager and lead a team of 9 colleagues.

Lead and manage the Sales division in line with brand standards and financial targets.

Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams.

Drive the creation and execution of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all public communications—digital or in-person—reflect brand identity and resonate with target audiences.

Build and maintain a high-performing team, overseeing recruitment, development, performance, and engagement.

Lead Group & Event Sales efforts and manage external sales agencies to ensure optimal ROI.

Maintain and grow a network of strategic partners, ensuring accurate data entry and updates in company systems.

Champion data accuracy and implement structures for timely business analysis to optimize revenue.

Apply revenue-focused leadership, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategy to optimize RevPAR.

Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to ensure profitability during both high and low demand periods.

Create and manage the annual Sales budget and Business Plan in alignment with company goals.

Represent the hotel at trade fairs, roadshows, and sales-related travel, in coordination with the corporate office.

Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to maintain a strategic edge.

Actively network with local, national, and international sales organizations.

Participate as a member of the hotel’s senior leadership team, contributing to the overall success of the operation.

 

 

What makes you a match

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within luxury hospitality.

International experience is a plus.

Strong understanding of P&L and financial principles.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); Czech is an advantage.

Independent, responsible, diligent, and flexible.

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); general computer literacy.

Basic knowledge of accounting, VAT, and taxation.

Experience in a 5-star hotel chain is a significant advantage.

Degree in economics, finance, or hospitality (university degree preferred).
