This Sant Jordi, a celebration of books, roses and the spirit of Barcelona, we will transform our spaces into a unique cultural setting where literature and art come together to honour this cherished tradition.
We will open the day with two literary encounters in our lobby, inviting guests to experience the magic of Sant Jordi through storytelling and author connections:
10:00 – 11:00: We will welcome Pol Casellas, who will present and sign La Barcelona Impossible, a fascinating journey through those urban and architectural projects that once aimed to transform Barcelona but were never built.
11:00 – 12:00: Nina Sulé will share Escribiéndote, me encontré, a moving collection of letters exploring love, loss, and personal transformation capturing the emotional essence at the heart of Sant Jordi.
We will unveil an artistic installation created specifically for the occasion. Local artists Mireia Font and Claymoss have reinterpreted the iconic Sant Jordi rose through ceramic flowers intertwined with wheat stalks. This piece, which engages in dialogue with the hotel’s architecture, will be visible from the entrance.
In the afternoon, the event will move to Azimuth Rooftop:
16:00 – 17:00 | Cultural Map Presentation: BGUIDED presents a limited-edition fold-out map. This guide features a curated selection of Barcelona’s most emblematic bookshops and architecturally significant libraries, with detailed descriptions and visual material.
Enjoy our exclusive signature cocktail inspired in the legend of Sant Jordi, available all day in Azimuth Rooftop.
