In collaboration with the prestigious Matiz Gallery, we present an exclusive artwork collection that now enhances the elegance of our luxurious suites and our restaurant, offering guests a truly immersive artistic experience.

Each suite showcases a carefully curated collection of works by emerging local artists, which merges the sophistication of a 5-star hotel with the vibrancy and creativity of Barcelona's art scene. 

Our collection features works of different artists, such as Alberto Ruiz Villar, Catherine Parra, Alex Voinea and Jordi Artigas. Guests will have the unique opportunity to purchase these works, allowing them to take home a piece of their Almanac experience.

This rotating collection is refreshed every three months, ensuring that our spaces remain alive with new artistic expressions, offering guests a continuous sense of discovery during each visit.

To enhance the guest's experience, we offer exclusive art tours in collaboration with Matiz Gallery. Curated journeys that allow guests to explore Barcelona's hidden artistic gems and gain access to some of the city's most iconic and private art spaces. 

Juan Ramirez, director of Matiz Gallery, will take our guests to immersive tours including visits to the artist's ateliers, offering a unique chance to see the creative process of some of Barcelona's most renowned artists up close. 

Guests will also be guided through the city's architectural and artistic gems, offering a unique opportunity to experience Barcelona's cultural history in an exclusive way.

Autumn in Barcelona

La Mercè is the patron saint of Barcelona, it is an annual festival and popular celebration held in public places all over the city, it has a huge program of events and traditional activities such as human castles, street parades or concerts.

You can enjoy this traditional festival between September 22nd and 25th.

During this month, visitors can enjoy the different Christmas markets that the city offers, the most relevant are Santa Llúcia Market and Sagrada Familia Market. 

People can visit the Barcelona traditional Christmas nativity scene, which is held in Marès Museum.

If you visit Barcelona during this month, it is a must to go for a walk around its streets to see the Christmas lights and decoration. You will find ice skating rinks, one of them located in the iconic Modernist enclosure of Sant Pau, where a Christmas light spectacle takes place.
